With the ratio locked, type either a width or a height – every picture keeps its own shape. Unlock it to force an exact width and height. Leave both empty to keep the original size and only change the format or quality.

Format, quality and file size.
Target file size is useful for exam and application forms – type 50 KB and the quality is adjusted automatically until the picture fits. If it still will not fit, the picture itself is made a little smaller.

The background colour shows through where a PNG was transparent, and in the border left by “Fit inside”.
